VivaAerobus

Monterrey, Mexico

Low Cost Carrier in heavily competed Mexican market, operating a mix of 737-300 and A320 aircraft.

VivaAerobus started with an ambitious growth strategy, which was complicated by the financial crisis that hit Mexico as well.

Although it has always controlled its costs very well, several rounds of consolidation had affected the commercial attractiveness of the schedule.

VivaAerobus

"Mexico's lowest cost carrier."

The complicated challenge was to preserve good services to core markets in a very elaborate and geographically spread network, while at the same time implementing a long-term vision as basis for future growth.

An extra factor in this was that the company was in the middle of a fleet transition.

Schedule Consult was invited to assist in sorting out this challenge together with the VivaAerobus team.
