Year: 1989

Project objective: Optimization of a mixed production program, with the objective of maximizing annual profits.

Project content:  Development and implementation of operations research model to optimize fleet production on the basis of various factors including touroperator demand. Model selects the best constellation of flight series, based on yields, number of seats, flight costs, number of weeks and fleet availability.

Result: Working model to support production trade-offs and defining the optimal schedule for each day of operation.
