Bern airport has never been fully exploited by the industry, mainly due to its operational restraints. However, it is not only the capital of Switzerland, it is also the centrepoint of a large catchment area. Sky Work Airlines took on the challenge to develop a comprehensive network for these markets.
Since the step from charters to scheduled services is quite significant, Schedule Consult was
invited to support Sky Work Airlines in designing its business plan and in setting up vital
commercial functions.
NETWORK PLAN
Year: 2010
Project objective: Development of a multi-year perspective
for the development of Sky Work Airlines' network and schedules.

strategies and their potential impact on Sky Work's markets and profits.

Project objective: Complete inventory control on
outsourcing basis.
Project content: Dynamic yield management, allocating the optimal fare and capacities to each flight. Constant evaluation and steering. Pricing. Cooperation with the marketing department to identify specific campaign targets.
Result: Currently ongoing; providing Sky Work with a
level of yield and revenue optimization that is unique for a starting network.
