When Air Littoral ran into difficult waters, management of Nice Airport, in its responsibility as major stakeholder, made major efforts to secure the product offer that was endangered.  Air Littoral offered a very significant number of the routes in the portfolio of the Airport.

Year: 2004

Project objective: Identification of the best way to secure important air links from Aéroport Nice Côte d'Azur to regional business destinations.

Project content: Evaluation of various options with or without a Nice-based airline. Identification of reasons for Air Littoral's failure. Found structural network flaws that had cost the airline most of its potential margins over the years. Development of a new network concept as basis for a viable continuation of operations.

Result: Inventory and prioritization of opportunities for Nice Airport to preserve its market offering and revenues. Business plan with a three year production plan towards profit.
