Project objective: Improvement of information flows in
preparation of sales decisions, production decisions, ad-hoc charter planning and contract
negotiations.
Project content: Review of the planning process and management information. Involved the type of information, organization needs, system design, on the spot training and implementation.
Result: Recommendations implemented, better input for
network decisions and contract negotiations.
CREW PLANNING
Year: 1999
Project objective: Identification of possibilities to
reduce crew shortage problems and prevent them from re-occuring.
Project content: Schedule Consult worked with the crew
planning team to analyze crew availability, planning procedures, rosters, irregularity patterns,
etc. Identification of bottle-necks and efficiency losses. Development of new procedures. Involved
both long-term and short-term planning.
Result: Implementation of changed policies and planning
procedures. Sharp increase in flight completion rate.
NEGOTIATIONS FLIGHT DUTY REGULATIONS
Year: 1999
Project objective: Support in achieving a good, fair and
balanced negotiation result with Pilot trade unions.
Project content: Evaluation of pilot union proposals,
calculation of effects on company results. Design of alternatives to achieve justified objectives.
Participation in negotiations to evaluate these options.
Result: New FDR agreed with pilot unions that safeguarded
both crew fatigue and company efficency.
